Adrian and Jane Marfell started Whitchurch MOT Centre in 2008, they are joined by Luke Richards, Kristian Price and Andy Watkins.

Now in our 14th year, we like to thank our local community for supporting our business.

We give back where we can by sponsoring and supporting our local downhill mountainbike team, schools and charities.

Recently we have expanded to build a tyre fitting bay and deliver first class servicing, MOT testing and repairs.

Luke Richards

South Hereford Garages trained to NVQ Level 3, Luke has been with us since 2010 making him part of the furniture and has worked previously at Hilton Renault, Bristol Street Motors Renault, Mazda, Toyota and Ford Commercial. Away from work you will find Luke is a keen Crystal Palace supporter and under 10s youth football team coach.

Kristian Price

9 years as a Senior VW Technician made Kristian a perfect fit for Whitchurch MOT Centre in 2021, having previously completed a 3 year apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3, qualified as an MOT tester and spent 8 years with Nissan. More recently Kristian has followed VW training for hybrids. Kristian’s hobbies include motocross and cycling.

Andy Watkins

Skoda Master Technician Andy also joined in 2021 having spent 9 years with VW Audi, 8 years with Skoda, 3 years with Nissan and 3 years with Seat. Andy is a keen footballer, also following BTCC and F1 motorsport.

Jane Marfell

Jane founded Whitchurch MOT Centre with Adrian in 2008, also an ex-school teacher she is often the first point of contact when you call and keeps the business running smoothly. At home Jane is a keen runner, supports the family in cycling competition and enjoys entertaining.

Adrian Marfell

Adrian is an ex teacher with a degree in engineering, his reputation and enthusiasm attract more and more customers, keeping the MOT testing ramp, servicing and repair ramps and tyre fitting bay busy.

Did you know…

Adrian’s passion for cars is well known. As an accomplished competitor, competition car builder and restorer (particularly air-cooled VW restoration) he has a string of motorsport achievements to his name, including 2021 British Cross Country Champion, as presented by legendary F1 driver Jackie Stewart.

Had engine problems whilst driving from South Wales to the Midlands for a family funeral and pulled over to this garage. These guys were incredibly helpful and generous. They quickly sorted out the problem and got us underway. Very friendly and would highly recommend. If I lived closer I wouldn't hesitate to take my car there. Thank you for helping us out!

Whitchurch to the rescue! I had to pull over with a broken wheel arch and by shear luck there was Whitchurch MOT centre. So kind and helpful, suggested I get a coffee and return in 10minutes. 5 minutes later it was made safe for my drive to north wales and with no charge! What an absolute hero!

Rudest people I have ever dealt with - especially the receptionist behind the desk. So rude to the point I had to write a review about them. Avoid these people at all costs, plenty of other decent mechanics out there that that are willing to help who will give you respect.

Excellent service. I went for a while you wait MOT that the company I worked for apparently booked. As it turned out my incompetent company couldn't manage a p**s up in a brewery and so I was, potentially, left hight and dry by them.However, the useful folk at the MOT centre managed to fit me in at super quick time and get it done whilst I waited. Thankfully Whitchurch MOT centre are brilliant at what they do, unlike my company.Great job guys!

They did an excellent job at changing my flat tyre at a moments notice. As a result I made it to my sister's wedding with no stress or hurry! The price they charged was also very good, I have been charged almost double in the past. Would highly recommend them, the gentleman who helped me was also very polite and friendly.

Great service, super friendly, extremely helpful!Called up on passing through needing a repair. The guys were able to get me in on the day no hesitation, and got me back on the road in no time. Excellent service, repaired both rear discs and breaks at a great price. Would definitely recommend to everyone
